What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Imperial: Cologne Cathedral, Shrine of the Three Kings Commemorative Medal 1880 (in bronze, obverse illustrating Cologne Cathedral, inscribed "DER DOM ZU KÖLN" (The Cathedral in Cologne) above and "BEGONNEN 1248 VOLLENDET 1880" (Started 1248, Completed 1880), engraver marked "DRENTWETT" (Gottfried Drentwett), reverse illustrating the Virgin Mary sitting on a throne, the baby Jesus in her arms, surrounded by the three kings and witnesses, inscribed "Anbetung der hl. drei Könige" (Adoration of the Three Kings) above and "DOMBILD ZU KÖLN" (Cologne Cathedral) below, measuring 50.8 mm in diameter);

2. Weimar Republic: French Libertines on the Rhine and the French Jurisdiction Commemorative Medal 1920 (in bronze, obverse illustrating two hands unsheathing a dagger, with French colonial troops ravishing German girls in the background, inscribed "FRANZÖSISCHE RECHTSPRECHUNG / CODE NAPOLEON"(French Jurisdiction / Code Napoleon) above and dated "1920" below, engraver marked " K.G" (Karl Goetz), reverse illustrating a scene of debauchery and rape in the city center, a house to the right with the inscription "LUSTHAUS FÜR NEGER" (Lush House for Negros) on the roof, inscribed "WÜSTLINGE AM RHEIN!"
