Germany, Luftwaffe. A Board Clock, with Stand, by Junghans
(Luftwaffe Borduhr). A well-preserved Luftwaffe Borduhr (Board Clock), constructed of a nickel-plated metal case, the obverse featuring a black dial with luminous numerals 1-12 graded at intervals of five, with luminous minute and hour hands and an additional small stopwatch situated at the bottom, maker marked “JUNGHANS” for the Schramberg-based watch- and clockmaker, with an additional mark of “8 TAGE” (“8 DAYS”) and a patent number of “22600”, covered by an intact glass crystal, the reverse stamped with a serial number of “18351” and an additional Junghans hallmark, with a central ribbed wind-up dial, measuring 70 mm in total diameter, of indeterminate functionality, in near extremely fine condition; accompanied by a customized stand, constructed of a brass baseplate topped by a loop of identical construction, firmly held together with five rivets, unmarked, measuring 120 mm (w) x 40 mm (l) x 90 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
