Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

Germany, Luftwaffe. A Flight Personnel EM/NCO’s Visor Cap

(Luftwaffe Schirmmütze für Männer der Fliegertruppe). An exceptionally well-preserved Luftwaffe Flight Personnel EM/NCO’s visor cap, constructed of dark grey whipcord wool. The cap features reinforced side walls, fully lined on the exterior with a ribbed black mohair wool cap band. Both the top and bottom edges of the cap band are trimmed with golden-yellow wool piping, while an additional band of identical piping trims the outer edge of the crown. Pinned to the peak is an insignia consisting of an aluminum Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, measuring 70 mm (w) x 40 mm (h). Directly below the eagle, the centre of the cap band is pinned with an additional aluminum insignia consisting of a one-piece tricolour cockade and oak leaf wreath, flanked on each side by stylized wings, measuring 135 mm (w) x 40 mm (h). The cap band is flanked on each side by black-painted magnetic metal rivets, securing in place a multi-piece black leatherette chinstrap, adjusted with dual functional black-painted magnetic metal buckles. When not in use, the chinstrap rests upon a protruding vulcanfibre visor, finished in a semi-gloss black on the obverse and in a matte dark green on the reverse. The interior of the side walls is surrounded by a light brown leather sweatband, measuring 40 mm in width and perforated across the forehead by an array of ventilation holes. It is also fully encompassed by a light brown cotton/rayon-blended liner. The crown retains a fully-intact transparent plastic moisture guard. Visible on the crown liner beneath the moisture guard is a maker’s mark of “LANDES-LIEF.-GEN.D. KÜRSCHNER- U.-MÜTZENMACHER HANDWERKS BERLIN”, the abbreviation of Landes Lieferungs Genossenschaft Kürschner und Mützenmacher Handwerks, a Berlin-based consortium of furriers and hatmakers. It is also stamped with a size mark of “56”. The cap measures approximately 245 mm (w) x 260 mm (l) x 155 mm (h). Minor scratching is visible to the visor, in addition to a tear to the sweatband to the right side of the visor. An otherwise pristine example in extremely fine condition.
