Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Flugzeugführerabzeichen). Constructed of tombak and nickel-silver, the obverse consisting of a thin laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, stamped with the early form of the logo of C.E. Juncker, Berlin, measuring 65.50 mm (w) (inclusive of wingspan) x 53.18 mm (h), weighing 31.7 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux dark blue leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilt inscription of “FLUGZEUGFÜHRERABZ.” the interior with a padded blue satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 75 mm (w) x 78 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), the case’s spring catch no longer locks but with no other evident issues to the set, a quintessential example of an early Juncker award as described on pages 140-143 of “The German Luftwaffe Pilot and Combined Pilot and Observer Badges of World War II: 1933-1945” by Sebastian Talbot, 2018, in overall extremely fine condition.
