(Frontflugspange für Transport-und Luftlandeflieger in Gold mit Sternanhänger). Constructed of gilded tombak , the obverse consisting of a central circular laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central Luftwaffe eagle in mid-flight clutching a mobile swastika, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the bottom of the wreath with two hooks connecting to a gilded zink pendant with a central radiant star flanked on each side by three laurel leaves, the reverse with a central rivet securing the obverse eagle in place, with a barrel hinge and tapering horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 76.49 mm (w) x 25.36 mm (h), weighing 25.0 grams, the zink pendant demonstrates near total loss of finish and the clasp appears to be produced from a late-period die, in near extremely fine condition.
