Germany, Luftwaffe. A Transport and Glider Clasp, Silver Grade
(Frontflugspange für Transportflieger in Silber). Instituted on 19 November 1941. The clasp is constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse presents a central laurel wreath with a Luftwaffe-style eagle clutching a swastika, with nine oak leaves on either side of the wreath, reverse unmarked, presents a horizontal pinback with a barrel hinge and round wire catch, measures 76.42 mm (w) x 25.34 mm (h), weighs 20.7 grams, and in extremely fine condition.
