Germany, Luftwaffe. An Officer’s Dagger Hanger
(Luftwaffe Dolch Gehänge). A Luftwaffe Officer’s dagger hanger, consisting of two doeskin velvet straps, both overlaid on the obverse by layers dark grey rayon, in turn flanked on each side by machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire tresses, both adjusted with functional silvered zink buckles bearing raised oak leaf designs, suspended from dual silvered zink alloy loops affixed to a functional spring clip for uniform suspension, each strap also completing in a functional spring clip meeting loops emanating from the accompanying dagger, unmarked, measuring 295 mm in length as presented, the zink buckles demonstrating moderate oxidation, in overall very fine condition.
