Germany, NSDAP. An NSDAP 25-Year Long Service Award, with Case, by E. Ferdinand Wiedmann

Constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross PAttée with white enameled arms joined together through the quadrants by sun rays, the obverse with a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a gilded NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, in turn overlaying a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse with a central white enameled medallion bearing a gilded inscription of “TREUE FÜR FÜHRER UND VOLK” (“LOYALTY FOR FÜHRER AND PEOPLE”), the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “19” for E. Ferdinand Wiedmann, Frankfurt-am-Main, measuring 42.34 mm (w) x 46.44 mm (h), weighing 23.0 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of wooden frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilded NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a depressed white felt medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 66 mm (w) x 105 mm (l) x 22 mm (h), minor flecking and tarnishing is visible to the enamels and base metal of the decoration, respectively, a scarce complete set in near extremely fine condition.
