Germany, NSDAP. An Orts-Level Administrative Armband
(NSDAP Armband). Constructed of red wool, the exterior trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with Burgundy-red piping, also bordered on both edges by red rayon tresses bearing machine-embroidered gold bullion wire oak leaves, with a central white rayon disc trimmed with golden-yellow machine embroidery, overlaid by a multi-piece black rayon mobile swastika similarly highlighted with golden-yellow machine-embroidery, the reverse retaining an intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label bearing a maker’s code of “A4/A/112” and a secondary code of “110675”, measuring228 mm (w) x 128 mm (h) when folded, in unstitched and near extremely fine condition.
