Germany, NSDAP. An Orts-Level Blockleiter’s Armband
(NSDAP Armband für Politische Leiter). Constructed of red wool, trimmed and bordered along both the top and bottom edges with light blue piping and narrow gold bullion wire tresses, overlaid by a central red rayon band bearing machine-embroidered gold bullion wire oak leaves within borders of identical construction, bearing a central white rayon disc with a gold bullion wire border, in turn overlaid by a multi-piece black rayon mobile swastika with its arms trimmed with gold bullion wire and pinned with a central silvered zink pip, unmarked, measuring 13 cm (w) x 54 cm (l) in its unstitched condition, with only slight material fatigue evident, in near extremely fine condition.
