Germany, NSDAP. An Ortsgruppenleiter Armband

(NSDAP Armband). Constructed of red wool, the exterior trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with light blue and golden-yellow piping, bisected at the middle by a red rayon tresse, trimmed with gold bullion wire piping and overlaid by oak leaves of identical construction, with a central white rayon disc trimmed with golden-yellow machine embroidery, overlaid by a black mobile swastika similarly highlighted with golden-yellow threading, pinned with a central gilded zink pip bearing a raised NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the interior retaining a mostly intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label bearing a maker’s code of “A4/243” and a secondary code of “320532”, measuring 210 mm (w) x 130 mm (h), in unstitched and near extremely fine condition.
