(Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps Deutschlandflug Erinnerungsplakette). Constructed of bronzed aluminum, the obverse with a NSFK insignia in the form of Icarus overlaid by a mobile swastika, topped by initials “N.S.F.K.”, circumscribed by an inscription of “NATIONALSOZIALISTISCHES FLIEGERKORPS DEUTSCHLANDFLUG 1938”, the reverse with an inscription of “MIT UNSEREM FÜHRER IM GLEICHEN SCHRITT UND TRITT FLIEGEN WIR FÜR UNSER EWIGES DEUTSCHLAND” (“IN EQUAL PACE AND STRIDE, WITH OUR FÜHRER WE FLY FOR OUR ETERNAL GERMANY”) and the facsimile of NSFK leader Friedrich Christiansen, above an issue number of “1718”, measuring 95 mm (w) x 77 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
