A second pattern badge constructed of silvered zink, the obverse depicts a free hot-air balloon with the NSFK emblem at the top of the air-bag, surrounding the central motif is an oval oak leaf wreath, the reverse presents a vertical principle pin assembly, engraved with the patent number 231240, measuring 44.58 mm (w) x 58.58 mm (h), and in near very fine condition.
