What's a max bid?

Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, obverse with a police-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika within an oval oak leaf wreath, reverse with central number “8” circumscribed by inscription “Für treue Dienste in der Polizei” (“For Faithful Service in the Police”), unmarked, measuring 38.10 mm in diameter, accompanied by its period original case of issue, constructed of olive-green textured card stock, lid with silver embossed number “8” inside stylized ring, interior with red felt lid liner and slotted medal bed, measuring 46 mm (w) x 100 mm (l) x 13 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
