(Dienstauszeichnung der Polizei, I. Klasse für 25 Jahre). Instituted 30 January 1938. (1938-1945 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original parade-mounted ribbon with a horizontal pinback, constructed of gilded bronze, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a raised Ordnungspolizei insignia in the form of a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika on top of an oval oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER POLIZEI” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE POLICE”), unmarked, measuring 44.28 mm (w) x 47.15 mm (h), weighing 42.5 grams (inclusive of ribbon and mounting), in near mint condition.
