The Soldbuch is dated to Wiesbaden on October 25, 1944. It measures 108 (w) x 150 (h) mm, with minor scuffing of the cover, remains better than very fine.

Footnote: Wachtmeister (Constable) of the Security Police Ludwig Planz was born on September 26, 1905 in Mainz. Only one additional piece of information about him is known: on June 13, 1944 he was deemed fit only for work service (as opposed to war service) by a doctor due to being rather short (160 cms, 5’2”), suffering from general nervousness, and deformation of the legs.
