Germany, RAD. A Reich Labour Service (Reichsarbeitsdienst) EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle by Julius Kremp
(Reichsarbeitsdienst Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of a central raised shovel head overlaid by a mobile swastika, within a wreath of wheat stalks, the reverse with a loop and attachment prongs connecting to a period original leather strap, maker marked “JULIUS KREMP, LÜDENSCHEID” with a date of “1939”, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in very fine condition.
