(HIAG Suchdienst Papier). A HIAG (Mutual Aid Association of Former Waffen-SS Members) Tracing Service file for SS-Sturmmann Hermann Niemann. Born 25 July 1925 in Herzebrock (now Herzebrock-Clarholz) Germany, Niemann served with the 8th Pioneer Battalion of the 8th SS Cavalry Division “Florian Geyer”. According to the document, his last known whereabouts were in Budapest during Christmas 1944. The request for information was filed by his father, Conrad Niemann. It includes a studio portrait of Niemann in a Sturmmann’s uniform. The document measures 208 mm (w) x 151 mm (h). Minor material fatigue is evident, but it is in an overall extremely fine condition.
