(Waffen-SS Insignien für lettische Freiwillige). A mixed lot of four locally-made Waffen-SS Latvian Legion volunteer insignia, including:
1. A set of Unterscharführer collar tabs, each constructed of black wool with buckram cores, featuring an insignia tab bearing machine-embroidered silver-grey dual Sig runes, and a rank tab pinned with a single silvered pip, both unmarked and measuring 40 mm (w) x 50 mm (l), in extremely fine condition.
2. A sleeve eagle, constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
3. A divisional sleeve insignia, constructed of maroon cotton on a white cotton twill base, trimmed with golden-yellow machine-embroidery, and overlaid by a diagonal white tresse in the style of a Latvian national emblem, unmarked, measuring 52 mm (w) x 62 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
