A postwar signed photo of SS-Oberstgruppenführer Paul Hausser, commander of 2nd SS Panzer Division “Das Reich”, the 2nd SS Panzer Corps, and the 7th Army, depicted in the uniform of an Obergruppenführer and wearing an eyepatch, with Hausser’s handwritten signature in blue ink clearly visible at the lower left corner, undated, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; accompanied by a short handwritten letter by Hausser to a recipient named Göhler, dated 8 April 1972 and addressed from Hausser’s final residence in Ludwigsburg (Hausser died on 21 December of that year), measuring 148 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), an interesting document in extremely fine condition.
