Constructed of glazed white porcelain, the obverse taking the form of a deep square bowl, the base stamped “SS-REICH”, with a manufacture date of “1940”, and a maker’s mark of “BAUSCHER, WEIDEN” for the prolific Wehrmacht and SS tableware manufacturer, measuring 21.5 cm (w) x 21.5 cm (l) x 7 cm (h), a small chip is visible to the base rim in addition to minor discolouration and surface scratching throughout, in near extremely fine condition.
