What's a max bid?

Germany, SS. An Artillery Officer’s Visor Cap

(Waffen-SS Offizier Schirmmütze). An untouched, "as found" example constructed of field-grey wool exterior with a black wool cap band, with three band of crimson red Waffenfarbe piping ring the cap, with a single band at the top and one each at the top and bottom of the cap band, indicating artillery, missing the eagle insignia, the cap is flanked by two pebbled buttons holding in place a chin cord constructed of multiple thick strands of twisted bullion cords, as well as two sliders constructed of four strands of thin twisted bullion cord. The visor is constructed of Vulkanfiber, with a molded raised ridge running along the ridge, it is lacquered in glossy black on the obverse, and coloured tan on the reverse, remaining firmly attached to the cap, the interior presents a beige coloured satin blended fabric, the crown portion features a clear celluloid diamond, towards the edge of the cap is a brown leather sweatband, unmarked, measuring 23 cm (w) x 26 cm (l) x 16 cm (h), presenting heavy soiling and wear, mild to moderate mothing on exterior, and fair/good condition.
