(Zollgrenzschutz-Ehrenzeichen Miniatur). Instituted 17 February 1939. (1939-1944 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, within an oak leaf wreath, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR TREUE VERDIENSTE IM ZOLLGRENZSCHUTZ” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN BORDER PROTECTION”), unmarked, measuring 16 mm (w) x 16 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
