Germany, Third Reich. A Fine Bronze Desk Eagle
(Tisch Adler). Constructed of cast bronze with a fine patina, presenting as an exceptionally-detailed German national eagle with its wings fully outstretched, with an integral loop set into its beak securing in place a mobile swastika pendant, perched atop a cascading rock formation, with the latter in turn riveted to a polished marble pedestal, with the base retaining a card stock liner to mitigate surface scratching, unmarked, measuring 32.5 cm (w) x 8.5 cm (l) x 27 cm (h), a striking example of patriotic artwork in extremely fine condition.
