What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A group of seven Second War period badges, including a Blade Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse with a central Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) overlaid with a mobile swastika on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, within an oval laurel leaf wreath, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in very fine condition; a Minesweeper War Badge, constructed of gilded tombak, the obverse with a representation of an exploding sea mine, within an oval oak leaf wreath topped by a Wehrmacht-style German national eagle, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback, maker marked on the reverse “Schwerin, Berlin”, measuring 43 mm (w) x 54 mm (h), weighing 30.1 grams, the obverse swastika has been removed and the reverse catch is missing, otherwise in near very fine condition; a cap badge, constructed of aluminum, with two reverse attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 34 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a miniature medal stick pin, constructed of silvered bronze, unmarked, measuring 22.5 mm (w) x 9 mm (h) with a 25 mm-long needle, in very fine condition; an eagle badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, maker marked on reverse with “K. Hartmann, Hannover”, measuring 22 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), in very fine condition; a glider badge, constructed of silvered magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 32 mm in diameter, in very fine condition; a Franco-Prussian War miniature medal boutonniere, constructed of bronze, maker marked on reverse “J.H. Werner, Berlin”, measuring 30 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), in very fine condition.
