What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A grouping of three Third Reich period police shoulder boards, including a Verwaltungspolizei (Administrative Police) Leutnant (Lieutenant), constructed of a grey wool with cardboard reinforcement bearing four rows of silver aluminum four rows of silver aluminum bullion wire piping loop around buttonhole opening, measuring 33 mm (w) x 113 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition; a Feldgendarm Hauptmann of the 3rd Regiment, constructed of orange wool with cardboard reinforcement bearing four rows of silver aluminum bullion wire piping looped around buttonhole opening, pinned with two gilded brass rank pips and stylized number “3”, in near extremely fine condition, and; a Landespolizei Hauptwachtmeister, constructed of green wool with cardboard reinforcement, bearing two rows of copper bullion wire piping with blue thread patterning and two rows of woven green threaded piping, pinned with two silvered brass rank pips, in near extremely fine condition.
