A lot of three catalogues and two books, including Orden und Ehrenzeichen im Dritten Reich (Orders and Decorations in the Third Reich) by Dr. Heinrich Doehle (1883-1963), published in 1939 in Berlin by Berliner Buch und Zeitschriften Verlag, in hardcover, including the dust jacket, containing 86 pages with black-and-white photographs, measuring 15.3 cm (w) x 21 cm (h), presenting heavy damage to dust jacket and in otherwise extremely fine condition. Nazi Medals Awards and Decorations, compiled by D. Serowka, constructed of heavy cardstock, with hand-drawn illustrations in black ink, stapled binding, the interior cover pages contain book labels stating KENNETH W. LEE, NUMISMATIST, 623 Security Bldg. Glendale, California (who was author and collector Kenneth W. Nee (1907-1980), measuring 13.3 cm (w) x 18.7 cm (h), and in extremely fine condition. Two copies of Nazi War Medals Orders-Decorations Illustrated-Price Catalogue, illustrated by John E. Snitzel, compiled by Gregory Babin and lenard L. Babin, constructed of light green, heavy cardstock, stapled binding, containing 8 pages, measuring 15.2 cm (w) x 22.8 cm (h), and in extremely fine condition. Nazi Decorations and Medals 1933-1945, by James A. Sawicki, illustrated by John E. Snitzel, published in 1958 in Rochester by Lenard L. Babin, softsover, containing 77 pages, measuring 13.9 cm (w) x 21.7 cm (h), and in extremely fine condition. Für Tapferkeit und Verdienst: Ein Almanach der von Deutschland und seinen Verbündeten im ersten und zweiten Weltkrieg verliehenen Orden und Ehrenzeichen (For Bravery and Merit: An Almanac of Medals and Decorations Awarded by Germany and its Allies During the First and Second World Wars), published in 1954 by Schild Verlag, softcover, containing 59 pages, measuring 14.4 cm (w) x 20.5 cm (h), presenting some scuffing and creasing to interior pages, interior cover presents a dedication in blue ink stating TO DR. GOODWIN PRESIDENT OF N.Y.O.D.S. FROM GWMACKAY, and in very fine condition.

This offering is a part of the "Dr. Albert Goodwin Collection", a preeminent assemblage of world Orders, Medals, and Decorations composed solely by Dr.Goodwin between 1946-1967. Dr. Goodwin had a successful career as an educator and prominent physician in New York as well as actively serving in both World Wars with the United States Medical Corps. He acted as both President and Vice-President of the Orders and Medals Society of America (OMSA) and is responsible for organizing their first convention in 1960. He maintained further membership with the American Society of Military Collectors, the International Orders Research Society, and the American Numismatic Society. His knowledge and passion for history and awards is evident in this meticulously compiled collection that is now available in its entirety for the first time exclusively on eMedals.com.
