A lot of three medals and decorations, including a War Merit Cross, II Class with Swords, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 47.76 mm (w) x 48.54 mm (h), weighing 18.5 grams, in near extremely fine condition; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the reverse marked “G18” for an unidentified maker, measuring 37.37 mm (w) x 42.15 mm (h), weighing 13.5 grams, in near extremely fine condition, and; an Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, with a central black swastika on a white enameled background, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse with an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and signature of the Führer, unmarked, measuring 35.94 mm (w) x 45.62 mm (h), weighing 12.8 grams, with some flecking of enamels evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
