What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Max bidding example:

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A 1934 Sturmabteilung (SA) merit book for the Sports Badge (SA-Sportabzeichen) issued to Florian Hensel, born 28 December 1913. Featuring 16 pages of physical fitness tests, partially completed with Hensel’s results, and his resulting points tally. Measuring 116 mm (w) x 165 mm (h). In near extremely fine condition.

 

A 1939 identification booklet for a member of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Berlin, named to Georg Manteufel. With 17 pages of handwritten information and typewritten text. Featuring a black and white photograph of the holder. Measuring 108 mm (w) x 149 mm (h). In near extremely fine condition.

 

A Deutsche Arbeitsfront (German Labour Front) work book, featuring 32 pages and stamped until July 1944. Name of holder, along with particulars, is handwritten on the inside. Measuring 101 mm (w) x 152 mm (h). In very fine condition.
