What's a max bid?

Germany, Third Reich. A Medal Bar for Civil and Wartime Service, with Case

(Ordensschnalle mit Etui). A cased medal bar for civil and wartime service, consisting of:

1. A War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, without visible marks, measuring 48.83 mm (w) x 48.80 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

2. A Sudetenland Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised date of “1. OKTOBER 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.14 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

3. A German Social Welfare Decoration, III Class, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with white enameled arms, bearing a central black enameled German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika with featuring and details highlighted in gilt, unmarked, measuring 39.95 mm (w) x 44.48 mm (h), with minor flecking of enamels evident, in extremely fine condition.

4. A Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Cross, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 41.60 mm (w) x 46.43 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

All suspended from a 145 mm-long zink bar with a horizontal pinback and field-grey wool reverse liner, unmarked demonstrating sporadic mothing and soiling to the liner and ribbons, respectively, in near extremely fine condition, accompanied by a matching ribbon bar, set on a 60 mm-long bronze core with a horizontal pinback and field-grey wool reverse liner, unmarked, with soiling evident throughout, in very fine condition, both concealed within a period original presentation case, constructed of a two-piece wooden frame with a faux maroon leather exterior liner, the interior with a maroon rayon lid liner and two hinge covers of identical construction, with a black velvet medal bed, closing with a functional brass snap button, unmarked, measuring 178 mm (w) x 128 mm (l) x 34 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident throughout, in very fine condition.
