Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Badges
(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of five badges, including a Wehrmacht Driver’s Proficiency Badge, constructed of zink, the reverse with both attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), missing its wool liner an and with oxidation and loss of finish evident, in very fine condition; an Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade miniature, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 16 mm (w) x 22 mm (h), with loss of finish and some chipping of enamels evident, in fair condition; a German Red Cross (DRK) Assistant’s badge, constructed of zink with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen, measuring 30 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition; a German Shooting Association (DSV) marksmanship badge, constructed of bronze with green enamel, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 36 mm (h), with some chipping of the enamel evident, in very fine condition, and; a Totenkopf stick pin, constructed of silvered bronze, in the style issued to Panzer and SS personnel, unmarked, measuring 10 mm (w) x 10 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
