(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of three decorations, including a West Wall Medal, constructed of bronzed zink, consisting of a double-sided oval oak leaf wreath joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised pillbox topped by a crossed sword and shovel and German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR ARBEIT ZUM SCHUTZ DEUTSCHLANDS” (“FOR WORK IN THE DEFENCE OF GERMANY”), unmarked, measuring 33.18 mm (w) x 41.55 mm (h), weighing 13.0 grams, accompanied by its period original package of issue, constructed of light brown paper stock, the exterior bearing an inscription of “DEUTSCHES SCHUTZWALL EHRENZEICHEN” and a maker’s mark of “CARL POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN”, measuring 59 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), the medal demonstrates significant oxidation and loss of finish and its suspension loop has broken off but is included, in overall fair condition; an Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross with its arms joined together through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, with a central white enameled disc bearing a black swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse bearing an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Miniature Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the reverse maker marked with LDO code “L/11” for Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid, measuring 16 mm (w) x 21 mm (h), with minor chipping of enamels evident, in very fine condition.
