A mixed lot of three decorations, including an Infantry Assault Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical piback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 47.75 mm (w) x 61.95 mm (h), weighing 35.8 grams, with oxidation and loss of finish evident throughout in addition to catch repair, in fair condition; a West Wall Medal, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a raised pillboxed topped by a crossed sword and shovel and German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR ARBEITE ZUM SCHUTZE DEUTSCHLANDS” (“FOR WORK IN THE DEFENCE OF GERMANY”), unmarked, measuring 33.32 mm (w) x 45.41 mm (h), weighing 14.6 grams, with oxidation throughout, in fair condition, and; a SA Sports Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a sword superimposed on a mobile swastika, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “W. REDO, SAARLAUTERN”, measuring 46.43 mm (w) x 58.86 mm (h), weighing 19.8 grams, with oxidation evident throughout, in fair condition.
