(Auszeichnungen). A mixed lot of three decorations, including:

1. A Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a clip hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “30” for the Vienna Mint, measuring 36.78 mm (w) x 44.02 mm (h), weighing 7.0 grams, accompanied by its original package of issue, constructed of beige paper stock, the exterior bearing an inscription of “VERWUNDETENABZEICHEN SCHWARZ” and a maker’s mark of “HAUPTMÜNZAMT WIEN”, measuring 5.5 cm (w) x 10.5 cm (h), in near mint condition.

2. A Wehrmacht 4-Year Long Service Award, constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE IN DER WEHRMACHT” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE WEHRMACHT”), the reverse bearing a wreathed number “4”, unmarked, measuring 30.37 mm in diameter, weighing 12.0 grams, accompanied by its original wax paper package of issue, with moderate oxidation evident throughout the decoration, in overall very fine condition.

3. An Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross with stylized sun rays joining the quadrants, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse bearing an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, unmarked, measuring 35.81 mm (w) x 45.74 mm (h), weighing 13.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its original package of issue, constructed of beige paper stock, the exterior bearing an inscription fo “EHRENKREUZ DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER DRITTE STUFE” and maker marked “LOCH & HARTENBERGER, OBERSTEIN”, measuring 10.5 cm (w) x 13 cm (h), in extremely fine condition, accompanied by a postwar Mother’s Day, constructed of card stock, the obverse bearing a gilt and coloured ink inscription and with flowers, the reverse bearing a handwritten dedication of “DEINE DANKBAREN KINDER” and a date of “11. MAI 1952”, accompanied by its original envelope, in extremely fine condition.
