Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Eagle Insignia

(Adler Insignien). A mixed lot of nine eagle insignia, including a Kyffhäuser Leagye breast eagle, constructed of silvered zink, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, marked “2”, measuring 95 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), missing its catch, in very fine condition; two Kyffhäuser League cap eagles, each constructed of aluminum, both retaining all three reverse attachment prongs, both marked “11” and measuring 66 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; two governmen cap eagles, one constructed of aluminum and the other of silvered zink, both retaining dual reverse attachment prongs and marked with Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logos and maker codes “M1/111” for Gebrüder Gloerfeld Metallwarenfabrik, Lüdenscheid, each measuring 55 mm (w) x 37 mm (h), the zink eagle with oxidation and total loss of finish, the aluminum eagle in extremely fine condition; two Sturmabteilung (SA) cap eagles, one large and one small, each constructed of silvered bronze, the large eagle missing one of two attachment prongs and marked with a RZM logo and maker code “72” for Fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart, the small eagle unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 32 mm (h) and 37 mm (w) x 26 mm (h), respectively, in very fine condition; a Reichsbahn Polizei cap eagle, constructed of gilded bronze, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 38 mm (w) x 28 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a German Youth cap eagle, constructed of bronze, missing its reverse attachment prongs, marked with a RZM logo and maker code “M1/47” for Christian Theodor Dicke, Lüdenscheid, measuring 50 mm (w) x 26 mm (h), in very fine condition; also including a Wehrmacht EM/NCO’s cap cockade, constructed of aluminum with a red wool centrepiece, unmarked, measuring 24 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
