A mixed lot of four medals, including a War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, measuring 47.98 mm (w) x 48.57 mm (h), weighing 18.3 grams, with loss of finish throughout, in very fine condition; a West Wall Medal, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a raised pillboxed topped by a crossed sword and shovel and a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR ARBEIT ZUM SCHUTZE DEUTSCHLANDS” (“FOR WORK IN THE DEFENCE OF GERMANY”), unmarked, measuring 32.89 mm (w) x 45.10 mm (h), weighing 16.2 grams, with oxidation and loss of finish evident throughout, in fair condition; a Social Welfare Decoration, IV Class Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Geneva Cross overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “MEDAILLE FÜR DEUTSCHE VOLKSPFLEGE” (“MEDAL FOR CARE OF THE GERMAN PEOPLE”), unmarked, measuring 38.50 mm in diameter, weighing 21.7 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a Kyffhäuser League Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse designer marked “HOSAEUS”, measuring 30.88 mm (w) x 46.95 mm (h), weighing 18.2 grams, in extremely fine condition.
