Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Uniform Insignia
(Insignien). A mixed lot of ten uniform insignia, including ten Wehrmacht EM/NCO visor cap cockades, all constructed of aluminum with red wool centrepieces and measuring 23 mm in diameter, all retaining both reverse attachment prongs, some demonstrating some wear to the centrepieces, in overall near extremely fine condition; three Kriegsmarine cap eagles, each constructed of gilded bronze, unmarked, and measuring 50 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition; a Heer EM/NCO tropical cap cockade, constructed of tan-coloured cotton with multi-coloured machine embroidery, unmarked, measuring 38 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a German Labour Front (DAF) sleeve diamond, constructed of a black wool base with a buckram core, the obverse pinned with an aluminum DAF insignia, unmarked, measuring 52 mm (w) x 64 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a National Socialist Warrior’s League of the Reich (NSRKB) cap eagle, constructed of aluminum, the reverse with all three attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 68 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a grenadier button, constructed of silvered bronze, the reverse with a lug, marked “FVB”, measuring 16 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
