What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A thank you card from AH dated April 1939, on his personal letterhead, in typewriter print stating “Nehmen Sie bitte für die Freude, die Sie mir durch die Aufmerksamkeit anläßlich meines Geburtstages bereitet haben, meinen aufrichtigen Dank entgegen” (“Please accept my sincere gratitude for the pleasure you have given me by the attention on the occasion of my birthday”), measuring 19.6 cm (w) x 12.3 cm (h), shows remains of attachment to larger parcel, with facsimile signature, and in extremely fine condition.
