A grouping of award documents to Herbert Kwass, including a large award certificate as reminder of his service in the Reichsarbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service), constructed of heavy, off-white cardstock, presenting illuminated calligraphy, featuring a coloured illustration of working RAD members, presenting facsimile signatures in black ink, including that of Fritz Schinnerer of the RAD, maker marked HANS ZIEHER, printed by UNIVERSITÄTSDRUCKEREI H. STÜRTZ A.G. WÜRZBURG, measuring 48.4 cm (w) x 56.8 cm (h), and in extremely fine condition, accompanied by the original mailing tube, constructed of cardboard, measuring 50.5 cm in length, and in very fine condition.

A RAD document promoting Herbert Kwass to the rank of Truppführer, dated 20 October 1939, presenting the facsimile signature of Fritz Schinnerer, measuring 21 cm (w) x 29.7 cm (h), with four punched holes, signs of rust and creasing, and in very fine condition. A participation certificate for the 3rd HJ Reichsberufswettkampf (Reich Vocational Contest) of 1936, measuring 14.6 cm (w) x 20.8 cm (h), with mild creasing, and in very fine condition. A participation certificate for the 4th HJ Reichsberufswettkampf (Reich Vocational Contest) of 1937, in the track competition, measuring 21 cm (w) x 14.9 cm (h), with mild creasing, and in very fine condition. A participation certificate for the 4th HJ Reichsberufswettkampf (Reich Vocational Contest) of 1937, measuring 15 cm (w) x 20.9 cm (h), with minimal creasing, and in very fine condition. An Ehren-urkunde (Honorary Certificate) for good performance at the 4th Reichsberufswettkampf (Reich Vocational Contest) of 1937, measuring 21 cm (w) x 29.1 cm (h), presenting two punched holes along left margin, with several creases, period repairs by tape along edges, and in near very fine condition. A West Wall Medal award document issued to Truppführer Herbert Kwass, at Berlin on 6 February 1940, bearing the facsimile signature of Otto Meissner in black ink, measuring 14.6 cm (w) x 20.9 cm (h), presenting two punched holes along the left margin, presenting a folding crease, and in very fine condition. An Eastern Front Medal award document issued to Obergefreiten Herbert Kwass, Stabsbatterie II./ A.R.6, on 1 August 1942, bearing the signature of the regimental commander in blue ink, measuring 13.9 cm (w) x 20.2 cm (h), presenting two punched holes along the left margin, with some soiling, and in better than very fine condition. An Iron Cross, II Class, award document issued to Obergefreiten Herbert Kwass, Stabsbatterie II./ A.R.6, on 30 January 1943, bearing the signature of the regimental commander in blue pencil, measuring 13.9 cm (w) x 19.9 cm (h), presenting two punched holes along the left margin, and in better than very fine condition. An Iron Cross, I Class, award document issued to Obergefreiten Herbert Kwass, Stabsbatterie II./ A.R.6, on 9 September 1943, bearing the signature of the regimental commander in blue pencil, measuring 13.9 cm (w) x 19.9 cm (h), presenting two punched holes along the left margin, and in better than very fine condition.

A General Assault Badge award document issued to Obergefreiten Herbert Kwass, Stabsbatterie II./ A.R.6, on 24 December 1943, bearing the signature of the regimental commander in black ink, measuring 14.8 cm (w) x 20.2 cm (h), presenting two punched holes along the left margin, with a single folding crease, and in very fine condition.
