What's a max bid?

Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, presenting as a Cross Pattée with obverse central raised dates of “1914-1918” within oak leaf wreath, tied at the bottom with bowtie-style ribbon, reverse plain with mark of “W & L, M” for maker Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 37 mm (w) x 41.5 mm (h), accompanied by its period original case, constructed of heavy cardstock with faux red leather exterior, white satin-type lid liner inscribed “Treue um Treue” (“Loyalty for Loyalty”) with facsimile of Chancellor Paul von Hindenburg, recessed white felt medal bed, functional magnetic metal spring catch with exterior stud release, functional magnetic metal hinge, measuring 75 mm (w) x 93 mm (l), in near mint condition.
