Germany, Third Reich. An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, with Award Document, by Paul Schulze
(Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, with crossed swords through the centre, the reverse marked with the logo of maker Paul Schulze & Co., Lübeck, measuring 37.66 mm (w) x 42.82 mm (h), weighing 14.7 grams, accompanied by its award document, constructed of paper and black ink, named to “OBERPOSTSCHNAFFER DAVID EISMANN”, dated 9 October 1934 and issued at Melle, measuring 210 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in overall extremely fine condition.
