(Bandschnalle). A medal bar with eight medals and decorations, consisting of a 1914 Iron Cross, II Class (Eisernes Kreuz 1914 2. Klasse). A cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border, the obverse with a raised central W under an Imperial crown, and institution date 1914 in raised numbering on the lower arm, the reverse centre with a branch of three oak leaves below the crowned initials FW, with the original institution date 1813 in raised numbering on the lower arm, measuring 41.93 mm (w) x 42.02 mm (h), and in very fine condition. A War Merit Cross, II Class with Swords (Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern). A Maltese cross in bronze, the obverse with crossed swords between the arms of the cross and a circular raised border of oak leaves on the obverse with a raised mobile swastika in the center, the reverse presents a circular raised border of oak leaves bearing the institution date 1939 in raised numbering, measuring 46 mm (w) x 47 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition. A Braunschweig War Merit Cross, II Class (Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse). A cross pattée constructed of darkened bronze, the obverse inscribed EA for Ernst August, with a raised royal crown on the upper arm, and dated 1914 on the lower arm, the reverse inscribed Für Verdienst im Kriege (For Merit At War), measuring 30 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), and in very fine condition. An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/18 with Swords (Hindenburg Cross). A straight armed cross pattée in bronzed iron, with crossed swords between the arms, the centre obverse displays a laurel wreath encircling the dates 1914 1918, the reverse is maker marked G & S, measuring 38 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), and in very fine condition. A Prussian General Honour Medal (Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen), constructed of silver, the obverse bears the three-line inscription VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT (MERIT FOR THE STATE), which is surrounded by a laurel wreath, the reverse presents the crowned monogram FWR III (FRIEDRICH WILHELM REX III), measuring 39.16 mm, the medal shows contact marks on obverse and silver patina on the reverse, and is in overall good condition. A 25 Year Wehrmacht Long Service Cross, in fire gilded metal (magnetic) with oak leaves and its Hoheitszeichen attached to the ribbon, measuring 40 mm x 40 mm, and in extremely fine condition. A 12 Year Wehrmacht Long Service Medal, in gilt metal (magnetic), with its Hoheitszeichen attached to the ribbon, measuring 30 mm in diameter, and in extremely fine condition. A Prussian King Wilhelm Honour Medal (Kaiser Wilhelm Erinnerungsmedaille-Zenteneramedaille). A gilt bronze medal, the obverse with a leftward facing bust of Kaiser Wilhelm, inscribed WILHELM DER GROSSE DEUTSCHER KAISER, KOENIG VON PREUSSEN (WILHELM THE GREAT GERMAN KAISER, KING OF PRUSSIA), the reverse inscribed ZUM ANDENKEN AN DEN HUNDERTSTEN GEBURTSTAG DES GROSSEN KAISERS WILHELM I, 1797-22 MAERZ 1897 (IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH BIRTHDAY OF WILHELM I), measuring 40.20 mm in diameter, and in very fine condition. All affixed to appropriate ribbons on a 205 mm long metal bar, with a dark blue wool baker, with maker mark for FR Borchard of Hannover, with a horizontal pinback. Accompanied by the matching ribbon bar, measuring 118 mm (w) x 16 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition. With rectangular cardboard box, maker marked Lehmann & Wundenberg of Hannover, measuring 244 mm (l) x 75 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
