What's a max bid?

Germany, Wehrmacht. A German Cross in Gold, Cloth Version, to Leutnant Erich Jeckstat

(Deutsches Kreuz in Gold, Stoffausführing). Instituted 28 September 1941. (1941-1945 issue). Constructed of a thread with silver aluminum and gold bullion wire, consisting of a double-overlaid grey threaded and silver aluminum wire starburst pattern with eight points, the centre with a black threaded mobile swastika trimmed with gold bullion wire, on top of a round silver aluminum wire disk, surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves and ribbons constructed of gold bullion wire, joined together at the bottom by an institution date of “1941”, the wreath ringed on both the inner and outer edges by red threading, the reverse with a black wool lining, measuring 60 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), weighing 10.3 grams, in near extremely fine condition and  accompanied by a certificate of authenticity by Detlev Niemann.
