A lot of three Eastern People’s Medals, including a Gold Grade II Class Medal with Swords, constructed of gilded zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of an eight-pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central raised rosette within a circular laurel wreath, with crossed swords piercing the centre, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “16” for Alois Rettenmeyer, Schwabisch-Gmünd, measuring 40.38 mm (w) x 45.90 mm (h), weighing 15.1 grams (inclusive of ribbon), with some loss of gilt evident, in overall better than very fine condition; a Silver Grade II Class Medal with Swords, constructed of silvered zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of an eight-pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central raised rosette within a circular laurel wreath, with crossed swords piercing the centre, unmarked, measuring 39.62 mm (w) x 45.52 mm (h), weighing 15.5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), with most of the silver finish lost, in overall very fine condition, and; a Bronze Grade II Class Medal with Swords, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of an eight-pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central raised rosette within a circular laurel wreath, with crossed swords piercing the centre, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “100” for Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 39.68 mm (w) x 45.40 mm (h), weighing 15.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), with most of the bronze finish lost, in overall very fine condition.
