Germany, Wehrmacht. A Lot of Third Reich Ribbon Bars, Cloth Insignia, and Event Badges
(Insignien). A grouping of four ribbon bars, one cloth cap insignia, and two day badges, including a German Heer (Army) EM/NCO M44 Trapezoid Cloth Cap Insignia, bearing a machine-embroidered national eagle with outstretched wings, clutching a wreath mobile swastika, in silver-grey rayon threads, above a national tri-colour cockade constructed of a black thread outer circle encompassing a white thread inner circle around a red threaded centre, constructed on a field-grey rayon trapezoidal base, the outer edging bordered with reinforcement thread in silver-grey rayon, measuring 65 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition. A ribbon bar presenting ribbons for a Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, Merit Cross, II Class, and Eastern Front Medal, measuring 89 mm in length, on a horizontal metal pinback, and in good condition. A ribbon bar presenting ribbons for a 1914 Iron Cross, II Class, Hessen-Darmstadt Medal, and Honour Cross of the World War with Swords, measuring 43 mm in length, on a horizontal pinback with wool backer, and in very fine condition. A ribbon bar presenting ribbons for a War Merit Cross, II Class with Swords, and an Eastern Front Medal, measuring 30 mm in length, on a horizontal pinback, and in good condition. A ribbon bar presenting a Wehrmacht Long Service Award ribbon with metal eagle insignia, measuring 25 mm in length, on horizontal pinback, and in good condition. A circular, die-cast metal badge, with bronze finish, the obverse presenting an eagle with outstretched wings, clasping a circular wreath holding a mobile swastika, straddling the eagle’s wings is a naked baby, holding three oak leaves in his left hand, with the date 1 MAI 1937 on either side, the reverse presents a vertical retaining pin, measuring 35.62 mm in diameter, and in good condition. A Sea Voyage event badge, consturcted of horizontal oval, die-cast, metal badge in a silver finish, on the face is a design depicting a three-mast ship on breaking waves, at the base is a stylised anchor emblem, and at the top a swooping eagle, clasping a circular wreath containing a swastika, there is a border section under the eagle with the inscription SEEFAHRT IST NOT, the remaining border inscription reads TAG DER DEUTSCHEN SEEFAHRT 25.26.5.1935, a retaining pin is attached to the reverse and there is a manufacturer's inscription W.ANNETSBERGER MÜNCHEN, measuring 41.45 mm (w) x 46.05 mm (h), and in near very fine condition.
