What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A lot of five uniform insignia, including a Heer Officer’s breast eagle, constructed of a dark green rayon-blended backer, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-aluminum flat wire eagle, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (l) x 40 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a Heer EM/NCO’s breast eagle, constructed of a dark green wool backer, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 105 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), with some mothing evident, in overall very fine condition; a Heer Gebirgsjäger sleeve insignia, constructed of a dark green wool backer, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss, set within a machine-embroidered silver-grey knotted border, topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 52 mm (w) x 66 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a Heer Gefreiter rank chevron, constructed of a dark green wool backer, the obverse bearing a silvered aluminum wire tresse, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Kriegsmarine EM/NCO’s breast eagle, constructed of a dark blue wool backer, the obverse bearing a hand-embroidered gold threaded eagle, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), with mothing and material fatigue evident throughout, in overall very fine condition.
