A lot of War Merit decorations, including a War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 48.07 mm (w) x 48.04 mm (h), weighing 17.7 grams, with total loss of finish, in overall very fine condition; a War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 49.04 mm (w) x 49.12 mm (h), weighing 23.8 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.30 mm in diameter, weighing 13.9 grams, with some reverse oxidation evident, in overall very fine condition.
