What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Kriegsverdienstkreuze) A lot of four War Merit Decorations, including a War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.39 mm in diameter, weighing 14.7 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition; a War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreated mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 49.96 mm (w) x 48.57 mm (h), weighing 15.1 grams, in extremely fine condition; a War Merit Cross I Class, constructed of silvered tombak, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, the pinback marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “4” for Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, measuring 48.35 mm (w) x 48.19 mm (h), weighing 15.9 grams, in near extremely fine condition, and; a War Merit Cross I Class with Swords, constructed of silvered zink, consisting of a Maltese Cross with crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with an integral hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting an integral catch, unmarked, measuring 48.58 mm (w) x 48.44 mm (h), weighing 16.3 grams, with loss of finish evident, in better than very fine condition.
