A lot of wartime photographs and postcards of Generalmajor Julius von Bernuth, including a small-sized portrait, depicting Bernuth uniform, clearly visible are the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, Blood Order ribbon, 1914 Iron Cross I Class with 1939 Clasp, and Black Grade Wound Badge, unmarked and undated, printed on glossed Agfa-Brovira paper, measuring 66 mm (w) x 98 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a medium-sized photograph of von Bernuth delivering a speech to a gathering of Wehrmacht personnel, notably flanked by a group of Heer musicians with instruments, unmarked and undated, printed on glossed Agfa-Brovira paper, measuring 118 mm (w) x 88 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a large-sized photograph of von Bernuth in the field, depicted in uniform and wearing a greatcoat, with the Knight’s cross of the Iron Cross and a ribbon bar clearly visible, with a clear view of von Bernuth’s Officer’s dagger suspended from a hanger, undated, printed on glossed Agfa-Brovira paper, measuring 128 mm (w) x 176 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; also included is a postcard depicting von Bernuth in uniform and with all awards clearly visible, the reverse unused, printed on Agfa paper, measuring 90 mm (w) x 138 mm mm (h), with some soiling and fatigue evident to the obverse, in overall very fine condition, and; a postcard depicting von bernuth alongside Field Marshal Gerd von Rundstedt, greeting AH during his visit to Army Group South on the Eastern Front, the reverse unused, with a studiomark of “KUNSTVERLAGANSTALT BRUNO HANSMANN, KESSEL”, measuring 148 mm (w) x 104 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
