1. A Black Grade badge, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a clip hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.46 mm (w) x 44.00 mm (h), weighing 12.1 grams, demonstrating minor loss of finish, in near extremely fine condition.
2. A second Black Grade badge, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a clip hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.83 mm (w) x 44.03 mm (h), weighing 13.0 grams, demonstrating minor loss of finish, demonstrating loss of finish and oxidation throughout, in fair condition.
3. A third Black Grade badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a clip hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 37.46 mm (w) x 44.90 mm (h), weighing 11.2 grams, the pinback apparatus is missing and oxidation and loss of finish is evident throughout, in poor condition.
4. A Gold Grade badge, constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integral catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “30” for the Vienna Mint, measuring 36.22 mm (w) x 43.80 mm (h), weighing 27.3 grams, most of the gilt finish has been lost with consequent surface oxidation, in very fine condition.
